Third time there this summer, quiet place.
Well kept COE park. Limited spaces with shade, lots of spots right on the water. I think all had covered tables.
Really hardly any boat traffic! Water was really nice with large cool spots closer to the damn. Great option for a quick trip to the lake.
Fun place to go to enjoy Proctor Lake. Camp sites are nice and have a lot of space between sites. A lot of the sites are right on the water which makes night fishing a lot easier. The sites have a covered table area that is nice. The only complaint I have is there are only a couple of sites that have shade.
We did not stay at this park but I did call with questions about the site and lake. The lady that answered was VERY rude and quite put off by having to answer my questions. She was so rude, in fact, that we will be finding somewhere else to camp(RV). She told me my inquiries were unreasonable. When I told her she was very unprofessional she did apologize but the damage was done. We've spent many weekends at lots of different lakes in Texas and I have NEVER been talked to the way she did. This is unfortunate as we were really looking forward to staying around Proctor and family.
